Day 1: Kampala Lake Mburo National Park
Our Company Guide/driver will pick you up from your Hotel to transfer to Lake Mburo National Park with a stop over at Mpambire Royal Drum Makers. You will have another stop over at the Equator en-route for photography and later drive to Lake Mburo National Park. In the afternoon you will go for a boat trip on Lake Mburo to see animals such as Hippos, Buffaloes and bird life then evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge/ Mantana Tented camp/ Arcadia Cottages or Rwonyo camp.
Day 2: Visit Local Markets – Transfer to Bwindi
Wake up early in the morning for your visit to local markets or schools. Alternatively take a guided nature walk to the Salt lick area where you will be able to see at least three different animal species licking the salty rocks. After that, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest located in the south western part of Uganda. Transfer to your lodge for Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp/Engegi Lodge/Gorilla Resort/Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking Expedition
Gorilla Tracking is a captivating and unforgettable experience which more than repays the effort needed to reach Bwindi and to trek through the forest. After an early breakfast you will be transferred to the park headquarters where the ranger guides will brief you before entering the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of the tropical rain forest is spectacular. The thrill of spending time looking in the deep blue eyes of these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome adventure, exciting and unforgettable experience. After having lunch, visit the local communities to have an experience of their lifestyles and culture or take a nature walk in the forest or relax at the lodge.
Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala
After having your break fast, return to Kampala passing through the beautiful countryside of Western Uganda with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch. You will be dropped at the airport or your Hotel which marks the end of your safari.
